Missions
BoliviaCBC has had the opportunity to partner with Operation Restoration, a ministry dedicated to reaching children and teens on the streets of Bolivia. CBC is now instrumental in supporting missionaries in Bolivia as well as helping with the completion of projects at both the girls and boys restoration homes. We will be continuing to send short term missions tams to Bolivia to bless the children of this area.
UkraineNick and Maia Mikhaluk (International Partnerships)
Nick Mikhaluk, executive director for International Partnerships, is focused on reaching middle-class professionals in the Ukraine. This is accomplished through Bible discussion groups, leadership development, summer outdoor activities for families and individuals, English schools, and various outreach seminars. He currently has 32 fulltime staff and over 150 monthly volunteers.

Asia / Pacific
John & Dawn (Pioneers)
John, regional leader of Pioneers for southeast Asia/Pacific, enables and encourages teams of church planters and other support ministries to reach their full potential in Christ, toward the end of initiating church planting movements in partnership with local churches. This is accomplished through leadership development, training, student ministry, business development, seminary teaching, mentoring, as well as other humanitarian efforts.
Japan
Roger Lowther (Presbyterian Church of America)
Roger Lowther is part of a church planting team working in downtown Tokyo at Tokyo Station. His primary focus is worship, Bible studies, and various evangelistic events. The church planting team at this point is focused on reaching the “culture formers” of Japan: politically, artistically, financially, and corporately. The goal of the church planting team is to start 3 churches within Tokyo by 2020.
Jordan
Our missionaries work in Jordan building relationships with indigenous people through a local business to gain the opportunity to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with them.
Tanzania
Zac and Hannah West (Young Life)
Zac and Hannah West moved to Arusha, Tanzania two years ago to work with students in the international schools. Their goal is to help these students begin a relationship with Jesus Christ that will change them, their families, their school, and the countries in which they live. This is accomplished through relational ministry, which includes relationship building, YL clubs, discipleship, and camping.

AGAPE Garden
We have a garden located on the property here at CBC. The harvest of our garden is used to feed those in need as well as to donate to area food pantries.
John Casto (Full Pardon Ministries)
John serves as a chaplain to many prisons on the North Carolina and surrounding areas. Full Pardon Ministries provides pastoral care and discipleship training for the incarcerated.
Ted and Christine Edwards (Campus Crusade for Christ)
Ted Edwards is a chaplain placed through Campus Crusade for Christ on the marine base at Parris Island. Ted, Christine, and volunteer staff minister to new recruits through spiritual training and discipleship as well as other activities that help build relationships with soldiers. They also provide support and materials to the military chaplains in that each chaplain is responsible for approximately 3,000 soldiers.
Tony and Connie Johnson (Campus Crusade for Christ)
Tony Johnson, for the past seven years, has been serving as the foreign relations director for the George Washington Academy (GWA) in Casablanca, Morocco as well as on the leadership team for the region with Campus Crusade for Christ (CCCI). Mr. Johnson provided oversight for the activities and needs of the staff for the various organizations he works with as well as some financial record keeping. In March 2010 his Moroccan visa was revoked and he and his family have returned to the United States for their next ministry assignment.
Smokey Mountain Pregnancy Center
SMPC is a non-profit Christian organization dedicated to saving lives and protecting futures in Macon County and surrounding areas. Their purpose is to empower individuals to make life-affirming choices.
Western Carolina University
We are currently building a relationship with Western Carolina in order to spread the Gospel among college students. Our future programs will include an on campus ministry, internships, local campus events and seminars.
